Oversees the direction and life-cycle of key web properties, supervises adopting improved DevOps. Coordinates business systems upgrades and integrations with IT.
- Web Development: Creating new applications and features for exhibits and public websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Bootstrap hosted on an AWS platform. Creating prototypes and wireframes for applications used for gallery content in the museum exhibits. Works closely with Designers to create final layouts, colors, and fonts for websites and applications. Maintaining web pages and creating functional websites based off designs using HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript, etc Cross functional team: Leads a cross-functional team of internal stakeholders to identify business needs and define feature updates for all aspects of the Museum’s website. Transfers the team’s input into user stories and larger initiatives. Works Closely with Developers on large projects and implementations.
- Product Direction: Serves as the product director for all key web properties accounting for over 200,000 annual visits, oversees all stages of feature development and defines priorities based on user/visitor needs as well as business objectives. Organizes the overall vision and roadmap for all public facing web products. Determines scheduling and allocation of ~$60,000 annual development and maintenance budget.
